Well I think my first mandolin lesson went pretty well. Neil (my instructor) taught me some chords and we mostly talked. But he gave me some stuff that I can practice and helped me tune my mandolin. The G string is still out of tune but I'll work on that. I won't meet with him next week because I'll be in Williamsburg. But hopefully I can meet with him weekly so I can start learning better how to play. I think this could be good for both of us.
