And it's as legal as a wristlock!

I will have another update on the Presidential contenders later this week (perhaps along with the other things I keep promising and continually put off.) Lots of changes since my last update so we'll see whose stock is up and whose is down. I've also added a new person to the list. You'll have to wait to find out who.

Saw an interesting study...at least to me. An article in Slate was talking about how the bigger a house a CEO owns, the worse the company's stock does. Obviously, it's not a perfect study as the article says square footage can buy you completely different houses in NYC and Wichita, Kansas but it's pretty interesting nonetheless. Here's the link if you want to check it.

I need to get around to selling some of my stuff on eBay. That was one of my New Year's resolutions but that's one I haven't started (I've done most of the others thank you!). Probably wouldn't get much money but it'd be nice to get a little cash for some of the stuff I'm not using.

Grindhouse comes to theaters Friday. I asked my brother excitedly if he wants to go see it. He responded just as excitedly "No." I hate him sometimes.

Robyn failed miserably in her bracket challenge to beat me. Of course I didn't fare so well either. I think I finished 5th or 6th in that 12 person pool. I can't remember. And just like last year it fell apart in the Elite 8. Both years I had all four of my Final Four teams left. Last year I got one of them right. This year I got two but it was the wrong two since I had UNC and Kansas in the title game. Oh well. Maybe next year.

In my mandolin lesson yesterday we started practicing picking and instrumental breaks. Let's just say I'll have to work on that some. I understand it but it's a bit difficult to put it together. Maybe the light bulb will go off like it did with chords.

DaimlerChrysler says the Chrysler division is for sale. That went well.

Iran is freeing the British hostages they've had for about two weeks as an "Easter gift" to the British. I can't wait to see what Ahmadinejad gets me!

A few thoughts

Yeah I know I haven't updated at the rate I was a couple of weeks ago. I've been very busy helping my grandfather and doing other things so I generally am too tired to think of posts. And when I was it was about basketball. But that's over with for this year so this will probably be the last one for awhile about that.

Florida won last night. I knew I should have stuck with them as my pick. I picked them to repeat in the preseason. Oh well. Congrats Gators. Truly one of the great teams of all time.

I went to Hickory and watched Wrestlemania with my brother. Overall it was pretty good. Only three stinkers out of 8. The rest were either very entertaining or better than I anticipated. I liked 8 man ladder match the best especially Jeff Hardy's legdrop off a 20 foot ladder. He's always good for something crazy.

Well I'm real tired and so I'm going to bed. I'll try to update more frequently soon. Not sure if you should be happy or saddened by that. Bye!

Florida-Ohio State

In case you didn't realize it, yesterday's post was pretty much a poor April Fool's Joke. Sorry. That was the best I could come up with on short notice.

We've arrived at the championship game for the NCAA Tournament. Florida vs Ohio State. This is the third time we've seen this since early December I believe. The first time we saw Florida beat the hell out of Ohio State with a weakened Greg Oden by nearly 30. Then we had the BCS Title game in which the underdog Florida Gators beat the crap out of Ohio State. So will the third time be the charm for the Buckeyes? I say no...but I think it will be a little closer. Florida has shown no weakness in the tournament thus far. Ohio State has done well even when Greg Oden gets in foul trouble. But I think Florida will be able to make OSU pay when he's on the bench bu just jamming it inside to Horford and Noah. I picked Florida before the season to repeat as champions and although I liked North Carolina and Kansas better in the brackets, it's not the Gators' title to lose. Tonight, I expect them to become the first team to repeat since Duke in 1992. Will Billy Donovan stay around to attempt a third straight title or will he run for the money? Will Noah and the other Gators leave early this time around? Who knows. But we have a championship to win first and I think it will be all Gators. Florida 72 Ohio State 71

Jeb's Tourney Record: 49-14 (If I'm right I'll get my 50th correct. Woo!)

Announcements

I got the Final Four picks right. It will in fact be a Florida-Ohio State matchup for the basketball title. And hopefully it will end up in yet another Ohio State shellacking as in the first time they played this year and the college football national title game. I'll have my official pick tomorrow.

I thought I'd take the time to make the announcement that I've decided not to go to school in the fall. I think I'd rather start touring the country with my mandolin and harmonica in tow. I think it'd be really fun and exciting just to go around and play some songs in clubs. And I'd actually be paid instead of having to pay to go to school. So it makes sense from a financial standpoint too. So yeah, that's what I think I'll be doing. I hope some of you will come out and support me.
