The nightmare ends.

The Grammys are finished. I'll have the 2007 Grammy Running Diary up tomorrow. I just don't feel like transcribing it to electronic form tonight. So you can look forward to that.

Duke lost their 4th straight today. Now they're 5-6 in the ACC. Is it possible that the Dukies could miss March Madness. If they don't put together some wins their situation could get dicey. Stay tuned.

The Nation had a poll asking people who the worst President of all time was. Bush was winning when I voted with more than 80% of the vote. Please! On the list of candidates, I'd rank him no worse than 3rd. James Buchanan and Warren Harding are clearly the worst Presidents ever. Although if Bush doesn't pull some miracles soon, he could challenge their stranglehold. Richard Nixon and Herbert Hoover were dubious choices in my opinion. Hoover wasn't that bad. He just stepped in at the worst possible time. A lot of his economic sense was actually correct. But some times good economic sense is political death. Richard Nixon is a conflict. He was one of our best foreign policy Presidents. He broke the Communist bloc and contrary to what most liberals will tell you, actually did get us out of Vietnam. He also established the EPA. However, he was insanely paranoid and was truly guilty of acting above the Constitution and deserves any criticism in this respect. But back to what I was saying, if we enter a civil war in 2008 and lose 600,000 American lives, I might consider Bush topping (bottoming?) James Buchanan for worse President of all time.
