Halftime Observations: KC-Indy

That was a miserable first half. The Colts are up 9-0 on the Chiefs. I certainly didn't think this would be low-scoring. I thought Larry Johnson would cut through Indy's front seven like butter. I thought Peyton Manning would be racking up passing yards like mad. Instead, Manning has two INTs and Larry Johnson doesn't even have 20 yards yet. The Chiefs should be ashamed not to be on the board. They had third down and were on the Colts' two yard line when Trent Green tripped over an offensive lineman and then their kicker CLANGED a 23 yarder off the left upright. As bad as the Chiefs' offense looked, the Colts should be up by 21. But too many mistakes have kept it still in striking distance for the Chiefs. I like Kansas City's chances even less than I did at the start of the game but if Peyton doesn't stop playing like this is his first playoff game, and the Chiefs figure out what the hell is wrong with their offense, watch out.
