Playing my violin for the RIAA

RIAA's price secrets probed

You mean the RIAA's claims of $750 damages per song might have been unjustified? NO! Surely you jest!?

I hope the RIAA burns. They pretend to try to protect the artists but that's the least of their concerns. They use bullying tactics to force people to give them more money. I think it's funny because they brought this on themselves decades ago when they introduced CDs and basically encouraged everyone to have to buy all their albums again. Now the technology of mp3s and downloading and peer-to-peer and ripping and etc. comes along and they cry foul? Boo-hoo! And it's organizations like the RIAA and draconian copyright laws that make it nearly impossible to get a work of art like The Beastie Boys Paul's Boutique again. When Danger Mouse mixed The Beatles White Album with Jay-Z's Black Album to create The Grey Album EMI tried to sue to get him to stop. Unfortunately for EMI, millions of people showed that they can pay no attention to their useless threats and called their bluff since nobody was making any money off of it. Ok I got off subject for a second. But it's high time that people in power started calling out the RIAA for their lies.
